Animation Philosophy
The animation Knightly Logo was a college project about creating a logo and then animating it in a creative and dynamic way. Most of the work was put into bouncing, timing, and secondary action.

The animation Pride was a college project focused on understanding the various steps of a walk cycle in animation. The idea was to create a character based on an adjective, the one I chose was prideful, and to design a simple character and also to animate a walk cycle for that character that also helps to portray their adjective.
Animatics
Animatics are used in film and animation to help communicate the sense of timing, and action on screen to the larger team. Nathanael McCain has experience both drawing storyboards and taking the individual stills and putting them together using Adobe Photoshop to create useful animatics.
Attached are two animatics from Nathanael's internship opportunity working on the Familiar Shapes film created by Heather D. Freeman.

(Unfortunately the Audio file for the second animatic was lost.)
